In a statement on Monday, LTO Assistant Secretary Edgar Galvante said the agency already directed all its regional offices and branches to prepare for the expected influx of passengers for the All Saints Day and All Souls Day.
“Marami sa ating mga kababayan ang magtutungo sa kani-kanilang mga probinsya upang dalawin ang puntod ng kanilang mga namayapang mahal sa buhay, o para magbakasyon ngayong Undas. Nagkataon din na long weekend. Nararapat lamang na tiyakin na makakarating sila sa kanilang patutunguhan ng ligtas, komportable at walang aberya sa lansangan,” Galvante added.
Upon passing the inspection, Galvante explained that vehicles are allowed to ferry passengers, while those who failed will be barred to travel to immediately repair or replace broken parts if possible.
