LAND Transportation Office-Central Visayas chief Glen Galario graces a press briefing to talk about his programs as head of the agency.
Glen Galario, the new regional director of LTO-7, said the marching order that he received from Department of Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista was to release all the assigned or issued license plates that have yet to be claimed. As of July 6, there are 528,772 assigned and issued plate numbers for motorcycles while there are 71,564 assigned and issued plate numbers for motor vehicles.The dealers will be the ones to coordinate with the owners to get their plates, Galario said.
Galario, meanwhile, announced that the LTO-7 will continue to offer free Theoretical Driving Course in the whole region.“Local government units can request for a schedule for the conduct of TDC lectures in their areas,” Galario said.He said that recently, the LTO-7 received a request from PhilHealth-Cebu and Corodva town for the conduct of free TDC.
