The LRT-1 Cavite Extension is very much on track as structure to complete the rail line are fast-taking shape with operations expected to start in September 2024, according to Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista.
“So far, we are [on track]. This is the reason why we are here—to make arrangements with the LRMC and their contractors so that this line will be operational as scheduled,” he noted. Construction for the LRT-1 Cavite Extension Stations is currently ongoing. At present, Dr. Santos, Ninoy Aquino, and Redemptorist Stations in Parañaque City have 48.03%, 34.06%, 30.17% progress rates, respectively.
