In an advisory on Thursday, Petron Corporation announced it will implement a P0.40 per kilogram rollback in its household LPG prices. The price adjustment will take effect at 12:01 a.m.
The downward adjustment is equivalent to a P4.40 reduction in the price of a typical 11-kilogram LPG tank. Solane, likewise, said it will decrease its LPG price by P0.36 per kilogram, effective at 6 a.m. on July 1. Data from the Department of Energy as of June showed the retail prices of an 11-kilogram LPG cylinder range between P879.20 and P1,107.09.“These reflect the international contract price of LPG for the month of July,” the company said.
