The trough or extension of a low pressure area is affecting Visayas and Mindanao on Monday, PAGASA said in its weather forecast.
Visayas, Mindanao, the Bicol Region, and the southern portion of Palawan including Kalayaan Islands will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the LPA's trough.The LPA is still outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, according to PAGASA weather specialist Robert Badrina.
"Maliit pa rin ang tsansa na ito ay maging bagyo," Badrina said in an interview on GMA Integrated News' Unang Balita on Monday. Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera Administrative Region, the rest of MIMAROPA, Quezon, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with rains due to the Northeast Monsoon.Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light rains due to the monsoon.Sunrise was at 6:24 a.m. while sunset will be at 5:43 p.m.
