Monsoon rains will prevail over the provinces of Zambales, Bataan, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan due to the trough of the monsoon and the Southwest Monsoon.
Likewise, the monsoon and the Southwest Monsoon will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon. The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms brought about by the localized thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds and coastal waters will be experienced over the northern and western sections of Luzon while the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water conditions. Further, PAGASA said tropical depression “Caloy” has developed into tropical storm “Chaba” after it exited the Philippines Area of Responsibility early Thursday.
