The low pressure area off Catanduanes is expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over the eastern section of the country, the state weather bureau said Thursday, Nov. 18.
The weather disturbance is embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone , which is prevailing over Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao, said weather specialist Raymond Ordinario. “Ito namang Intertropical Convergence Zone ay magdudulot ng makulimlim na panahon na may kalat-kalat na pag-ulan at pag-kulog diyan sa may Palawan ,” he added.It added that no weather disturbance is expected to form within the Philippine Area of Responsibility in the next two to three days.
