LPA east of Central Luzon is now TD Karding —PAGASA

“At 8:00 a.m. today, the Low Pressure Area East of Central Luzon developed into Tropical Depression #KardingPH. Tropical Cyclone Bulletins will be issued starting at 11:00 a.m. today,” PAGASA said.Based on its 5 a.m. weather forecast, PAGASA said the former LPA was located at 1,265 kilometers east of Central Luzon as of 3 a.m.The Southwest Monsoon or Habagat will be affecting the western sections of Central and Southern Luzon, PAGASA said.

Due to Habagat and localized thunderstorms, the entire Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms. Light to moderate winds from the Southwest to West, and slight to moderate seas are expected over the Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro, according to PAGASA.
