Progressive lawmakers outraged by Presidential Communications Undersecretary Lorraine Badoy's persistent red-tagging managed to suspend her entire agency's 2021 budget hearing at the House of Representatives on Wednesday, September 9.
This is not the first time that a PCOO budget was endangered by the doings of its officials. In 2018, the Zarate said it is insulting that Badoy and the rest of PCOO and its attached agencies are now asking the House of Representatives to approve their P1.59 billion budget for 2021. The budget is lower than the P1.69 billion this year.Kung ganun-ganun na lang pong mag-aakusa itong isang unelected official na ito sa mga halal ng bayan at humihingi sila ng budget dito
Zarate also blasted Badoy for saying they are not real lawmakers, when they won their seats in the lower house through a generally clean election.

Badoy should be fired and those lawmakers should file cyber libel cases against her.
Even if it was on her own FB page, their (PCOO’s) task is information dissemination. So her own post, made public, reflects HUGELY on their supposedly info dissemination. If Sec. Andanar did disown it, does it mean Fake news peddler nga si Badoy? Tas Usec siya? The conflict!
Andanar or whoever her boss is should have called her attention to her incessant & unsubstantiated red tagging even though it’s her personal fb Bec she is holding a govt position. And whatever happens to command responsibility.

The problem w/ Andanar is he's tolerating his subordinates misbehaviour. Since mocha's fakenews peddling, 'till now badoy's libelous attacks on those against du30's policies, Andanar failed to discipline them! They're using pcoo's powers & its funds as attack dogs vs. anti-du30!
