Zark's Burgers is going the vegetarian route, with the homegrown fast food restaurant introducing the"V Burger" on the menu. It's made from the locally-made Veega Meat-Free burger patty of San Miguel Foods.
Zark's new V Burger sandwiches slices of cheddar cheese, garlic ranch sauce, tomatoes, onions, and lettuce with the Veega meat-free burger patty, in between brioche buns. Heads-up: although Veega is made from a vegetable protein mix of soy, mushrooms, and wheat, it is still not vegan, because their patties still contain egg whites.Zark's new V Burger is available starting Saturday, September 19 in select Metro Manila, Laguna, and Cavite branches. You can get it via dine-in, take-out, or food delivery apps.
