Behind another stellar performance from Stanley Pringle, Ginebra escaped TNT with a come-from-behind 92-90 win in Game 2 to seize a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series. Pringle has been on fire in the finals, averaging 29.0 points, 7.5 assists, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals. But TNT can still hold its head up high despite losing Game 2 as it almost stunned Ginebra even without star guard Ray Parks, who did not play due to a left calf strain.
Roger Pogoy scorched hot for 38 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals in Game 2 and TNT needs the same production from him as it tries to avoid a dangerous 0-3 hole.
