Government agencies and various groups have announced that they will provide free rides to health workers and frontliners in Metro Manila to help them fulfill their functions amid the spread of the coronavirus disease or COVID-19 in the country.The Office of the Vice President has provided a list of routes that are available at 6am, 11am, and 4pm, which will pass several hospitals in the metro:RITM Alabang — Magallanes SLEX MRT — Taft Ave.

Hospital workers must present a valid ID to avail of the free rides. Before entering, they will have to undergo temperature check and sanitation measures. Social distancing will also be observed inside the buses.The Department of Transportation has also partnered with the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board, the Philippine Coast Guard, and the Department of Public Works and Highways to provide free bus rides for health workers.
