LGUs are given 75 days starting Monday, Feb. 17, to clear all roads within its jurisdiction of all forms of obstruction, the DILG announced. | DYGalvezINQ

This is the second round of road clearing operations that the DILG has ordered in a bid to “reclaim” the nation’s roads in line with President Rodrigo Duterte’s directive. The clearing operations will now include local and tertiary roads, as stated under DILG memorandum order 2020-027.

“Tulog ang paglinis at pagpapaluwag ng mga kalsada. I direct all LGUs to clear local roads from obstruction with the same urgency and enthusiasm as when the President issued the directive,” Interior Secretary Eduardo Año said in a press conference on Monday.

DYGalvezINQ PUNISH! Wala pa atang nasasampulan nooont Octoberz

DYGalvezINQ 😄 the LGUs are just laughing at the DILG

DYGalvezINQ Makati, please. Kapag dumadaan ako dun via JP Rizal and Pablo Ocampo, 4 lanes nga kaso 2 lanes lang nadadaanan. The 2 outermost lanes are used for parking and delivery vans.

DYGalvezINQ Clearing the road from obstruction is easy. Keeping it clear is the hard part.
