Vice President Leni Robredo talked about her stint as co-chair of the Inter-agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs and her report on the government’s campaign against illegal drugs during the weekly Kapihan sa Manila Bay on Wednesday, January 8, 2020.
“Iyong impresyon tungkol sa akin, karapatan niyang isipin iyon. Hindi ko dedepensahan iyong sarili ko, kasi iyong pinaka-proof naman kung nagtrabaho ako o hindi,” she said. Robredo released on Monday her findings and recommendations on the drug war from her short ICAD stint, but Duterte refused to consider her suggestions.
“Pinag-igihan ko ang trabaho. Ito iyong report ko sa assignment na binigay niya sa akin. Nasa kanya naman iyon, kasi siya iyong Pangulo. Nasa kanya kung may susundin siyang rekomendasyon o wala,” she said.
