Despite the loss, James is still firmly on pace to break Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s all-time career scoring record of 38,387 points as he breached the 35,000-point mark two whole years younger than the Hall of Fame big man. This scoring sprint from “The King” is nothing new, however, as he was also the youngest to breach the 5,000, 10,000, 15,000, 20,000, 25,000, and 30,000-point barriers across his illustrious 18-year career so far.
