Shown in photo are the personnel of the 23rd Infantry Battallion, members and officers of Youth , Inc. and Batang Masigasig POINTY assisting the children of the former New People’s Army rebels in feeding and educational program of the Army unit in Agusan del Norte.
Last Sunday, July 26, the Batang Masigasig POINTY distributed reading and educational materials to 24 children of former rebels at the 23rd IB headquarters in Barangay Alubihid, Buenavista, Agusan del Norte. The reading materials were donated by Councilor Jasper Jay Ledesma, a member of the Batang Masigasig POINTY. IB commander Lt. Col. Julius Cesar C. Paulo expressed gratitude for the support provided by Batang Masigasig POINTY to the children.
These children are also the future of the Filipinos, just like the other children in every community in the country, he added.
