The Las Piñas City government is now preparing basic need items like food, alcohol, sanitizers and face masks for distribution in vulnerable sectors told to stay home amid the enhanced community quarantine of Luzon.

According to the city’s Public Information chief Jimi Castillano, Mayor Imelda Aguilar also ordered the city’s 20 barangay heads in the city to identify the vulnerable sectors in their areas of jurisdiction.

He added that with the declaration of Mayor Aguilar of the city lockdown and without public transportation, the city government will provide transportation to those working within the city specifically health front liners, doctors, nurses, and those working in the drug stores.
