PLt. Paterno Naga Jr., Gamay police chief, said a concerned citizen went to their police station to report that a pregnant woman was lying on the street. PCpl. Marjorie Dy, also a registered nurse, did not hesitate to respond to the call. It was learned that the mother, Camille de Asis, 27, was already in labor.
She and her husband Dennis Ada, 25, were on their way to a health facility from their house in Brgy. Cade-an when she started feeling contractions.He is the second child of the couple. After the delivery, she and Nathaniel were brought to the Rural Health Office on board a police mobile car for further treatment.
