Lacson said the sad reality among Filipino voters these days is that there are people who easily fall for the empty promises of some candidates.
“Because we choose not to take seriously anymore. It’s like saying, ‘well, it is what it is. The system has always been like that.’ If we keep that kind of attitutde, then we really have nowhere else to go. It is really difficult. Because we know what the basic problems are, we know how big of a problem it is),” Lacson said in a recent interview over Radio DWIZ.
Rather than considering a candidates promises, the lawmaker said it would be best if voters vouch on an aspirant’s track record and see for themselves what he can bring to the table.
