Lacson conveyed the assurance during his visit to Bangued, Abra Tuesday, attending a public forum at AbValley Grand Hotel that tackled the primary concerns of the farm sector.

Claiming he already found the solution to the long-brewing problem besetting the agriculture sector, independent presidential candidate Senator Panfilo Lacson vowed to address and quickly provide the long-awaited reforms within the next six years if he wins the May 9 presidential elections.

On the issue of seeds and fertilizer, he acknowledged the problem facing the farmers.

“Ito, for example, UP-BIOTECH. ’Yung UP Los Baños kailangan nila ng laboratory equipment. They are now producing [fertilizer] because, 2018, augment ako nang augment ng budget diyan hanggang 2022. And they showed me the equipment that they procured. And now they are producing tons upon tons of organic fertilizer, napakamura, compared to ’yung imported fertilizer na oil-based,” Lacson said.
