La Union police collar 3 robbery, hold-up suspects

– Three suspects for robbery hold-up were arrested by police personnel from the Bauang station and La Union Provincial Intelligence Unit during a hot pursuit operation Wednesday afternoon, May 27, a report reaching this camp said.

Initial investigation disclosed that victim, identified as Robert Buenavista Jr, 21, and a resident of Barangay Payocpoc Norte Este, Bauang, La Union, reported to Bauang Police Station that he was victimized by the three suspects held him up at a mini-store at Central East, Bauang, La Union. One of the suspects from the motorcycle pointed his .45 caliber firearm towards the victim, and declared a hold-up then demanded for the sling bag, which according to the victim contained more or less P22,000 in collection money.

Further investigation showed that the suspects connived with each other to perpetrate the robbery hold-up incident.
