“Miracle In Cell No. 7” is a heartwarming comedy and family melodrama about a mentally challenged man wrongfully imprisoned for murder. He builds friendships with the hardened criminals in his cell, and in return they help him see his daughter again by smuggling her into the prison.Aga Muhlach plays the Filipino counterpart of Ryu Seung Ryong’s character, while Xia Vigor portrays his daughter.

“Miracle In Cell No. 7” is one of the official entries to the 2019 Metro Manila Film Festival. It opens in cinemas nationwide on Dec. 25.
