Vaccine Expert Panel chairperson Dr. Nina Gloriani on Friday said they are studying providing booster shots against COVID-19 to children.

Gloriani said during the day's Laging Handa public briefing when asked for an update on the recommendation regarding the giving of a second booster shot to adults.

“Hindi po muna yung mga general population pero meron din pong tinitignan din naman po yan, at baka kailangan din ng booster sa mga bata, tinitignan po, ongoing po lahat ‘yan sa ngayon,” she added.
