The Philippine National Volleyball Federation on Friday announced that Jorge De Brito is staying put as the Alas Pilipinas Women head coach until late next year.The Brazilian tactician, who was supposed to be on his way for another tour of duty in Chinese Taipei, will be at the helm until the 2025 Southeast Asian Games in December next year.
“There are so many events up ahead for Alas Pilipinas so let’s continue supporting the team and the program."PNVF's decision came just days after Alas Pilipinas captured a momentous bronze medal in the 2024 AVC Challenge Cup, where de Brito guided the core led by Jia De Guzman, Dawn Macandili-Catindig, Angel Canino, Eya Laure, and Sisi Rondina to its highest AVC finish in history.
