The 29-year-old guard, who celebrated his birthday last Monday, June 7, condemned the attack of the World Famous Yum Yum Asian Food Truck, which got sprayed on with racist, expletive-laced graffiti.“It hurt me deeply to see that Salt Lake's [Yum Yum Asian] food truck was recently vandalized – I know the pain that hateful language and racism causes,” Clarkson wrote on Twitter.

The truck has since been sent to vehicle graphics designer Identity Graphx for repainting, and is set for a June 12 reopening, coinciding with the celebration of Philippine Independence Day.Layton police have also offered a $500 reward for any leads on the racist perpetrators. headtopics.com

While the food truck owners have been selling Filipino cuisine in Utah fairs and markets for the last 10 years according to their website, they only managed to get their mobile eatery project on the road last year.The food truck incident is the only the latest in a string of anti-Asian and overall racist attacks plaguing the United States with heightened intensity since the pandemic began.
