ROME, Italy - The Italian government said Thursday it was suspending all flights between Italy and China after doctors confirmed two Chinese tourists had tested positive for the coronavirus.

Health Minister Roberto Speranza has issued a "decree closing air traffic to and from China," Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte told a news conference without giving a list of the affected airlines.

The tourists, reportedly husband and wife, were being held in isolation in the Spallanzani infectious diseases institute in Rome.Police sealed off the room they had been staying at a hotel in the centre of the capital, and other Chinese tourists who had arrived in Italy as part of the same tour group were being tested for the virus, Italian media said.

The news came as the UN health agency WHO declared an international emergency over the coronavirus from China, which reported its biggest single-day jump in deaths.

Dapat painumin muna nila ang mga Chinese na nagpupumilit pumasok sa Pilipinas at yung mga Chinese nandito na, kapag bumahing or umubo need nila magtake nito 3 glass for safery purposes ng mga Filipino.

We will face conflict of people without symptoms, and wanting to get back home from places under lockdown and people who are thinking they’re preventing the the spread. Listen to WHO advise and don’t cancel China headed flights SpreadTheWord CoronavirusOutbreak coronavirus

This is wrong - what if chinese travelers, if have symptoms, want to come back home to get treatment from the doctors they trust for a quicker detection and prevention of coronavirus ?
