But the question is, can you take a bath or a shower right after sweating?In the latest “Pinoy MD” episode, Dr. Ma. Via Juille Roderos-Galban, a general physician, said there’s no harm in taking a bath to relieve the body from the heat, because that too helps us cool down.
“Kapag masyadong nainitan ‘yung katawan natin, hindi it mainam sa ating condition,” she said, adding that a hot temperature can worsen one’s pre-existing illness.When outside during summer, Dr. Galban advised to always drink water, bring a fan, and use wet wipes on the face if you feel too hot.It’s also advisable to wear white or light outfits when you’re out and about, as well as to choose loose and summer-friendly materials for clothing.
