The Manila Veterinary Inspection Board seizes about 105 kilograms of “botcha” goat meat worth more than P84,000 and 167 kilograms of chicken worth more than P21,000 and presents it to Manila Mayor Isko Moreno on Thursday, July 25, 2019.

Manila VIB personnel on Thursday presented to Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso about 105 kilograms of goat meat worth more than P84,000 and 167 kilograms of chicken worth more than P21,000. Dr. Nick Santos, VIB inspector, said the spoiled chicken meat was seized at Pampanga Market in Tondo, Manila during a routine inspection at around 6:00 am.

The spoiled goat meat, Dr. Santos said, was seized at Arranque Market in Sta. Cruz, Manila during a routine inspection at around 3:30 am.
