Department Of Migrant Workers,Filipino Crew,South Korean Vessel

The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) announced that the two injured Filipino crew members of the South Korean merchant vessel will be repatriated. The government will provide assistance and support to the seafarers. The remains of the two deceased seafarers will also be repatriated.

The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) said the two remaining injured Filipino crew of the South Korean merchant vessel (MV) will be arriving via air ambulance on March 14, 2024. The government will provide full assistance and support to the seafarers.

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) also mentioned that two Filipino seafarers died from the Houthi attack and their remains will be repatriated.
