The result of the May 2022 election favoring Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte in the vice presidential race is a significant step in unifying the Philippines, her spokesman said on Tuesday. Eleksyon2022

“Siyempre masaya talaga si Mayor Inday Sara. Punong-puno po siya ng pasasalamat sa lahat ng ating taumbayan , volunteers, parallel groups, local leaders that came out to support Mayor Inday Sara and our next president, Bongbong Marcos. She’s filled with hope that this is the first big step towards unifying our country,” Cristina Frasco said in an interview with GMA News.

Frasco said Duterte is thankful to her supporters who voted for her and acknowledged the Marcos-Duterte tandem’s call for unity. Frasco said Duterte is currently in Davao City. She has been monitoring the election results since Monday, May 9.
