As “Law Month” is celebrated this September, the Integrated Bar of the Philippines renews its commitment to enhance the role of lawyers in the administration of the Rule of Law and access to justice in the country.
Estrada said that the country will celebrate the “Philippine National Law Week” on third week of September under Presidential Decree No. 640, while “Law Day” is commemorated every Sept. 19 under PD 1477. “Every September, we celebrate these twin events through the conduct of activities and programs aimed towards engaging society and raising awareness about the legal profession, the law and the administration thereof, access to justice, law reform, and the upliftment of the Rule of Law,” he also said.
