Hyundai to discontinue Accent by 2023. Hyundai HyundaiAccent CarGuidePH

to a growing list of retired nameplates. The Accent has already been discontinued in Hyundai’s home market of South Korea, Australia, and Canada among others.. Globally, the Accent will likely get another refresh due this year before biting the dust., hasn’t benefitted from the refreshed Accent/Verna as local assembly has stopped when the distributorship of Hyundai passenger cars changed hands.

Hyundai will now rely on the Venue to fill the outgoing Accent’s entry-level role. The Venue mixes fuel efficiency and modern styling closely related to Hyundai's flagship three-row Palisade.
