Singapore – Huawei has reiterated its committment to becoming a key contributor to the digital economy in Asia-Pacific, calling on all regional players including the Philippines to speed up digital transformation across industries, as well as green and low-carbon development.
In the Philippines where Huawei has also declared a commitment to promoting ICT industry development, several CSR programs, such as School in A Bag and Huawei Philippines Scholarship were successfully staged and promoted. On top of these endeavors is the Huawei Seeds for the Future, an initiative that aims to help cultivate young talents and get them ready , to be competitive in the workplaces of the digital future.
Yang Mee Eng, Executive Director of the ASEAN Foundation, stressed at the event. “The Huawei APAC Digital Innovation Congress 2022 marks another critical milestone in the ASEAN Foundation-Huawei partnership to continue creating a talent development-focused learning ecosystem that will help address the digital skills shortage in the region.”
