Watch more in iWant or TFC.tv MANILA - Meralco subscribers will pay for the electricity they consumed during the Luzon lockdown once bills are adjusted and the situation normalizes, the power distributor said Thursday.

Electricity bills for the period of March 17 to April 14 will be based on the average for the last 3 months and the difference will be computed in succeeding bills after the lockdown, said Meralco spokesman Joe Zaldarriaga. Pagkatapos ng adjustments ang inyong tamang consumo lang ang inyong babayaran," Zaldarriaga said. Meralco earlier assured the public that it would "keep the lights on" during the lockdown which is expected to end on April. 12.
