David Licauco made "Maria Clara at Ibarra" fans happy this Christmas when his character Fidel finally confessed his feelings for Klay.In Cata Tibayan's report for "24 Oras Weekend," Sunday, David said he's just like his character—torpe and shy at first, but later gives his all in order to make the lucky girl feel special.
"Sa simula talaga, hindi ko alam kung paano ko ia-approach 'yung babae. Should I do this, should I do that," he said. "Tapos kapag nagustuhan ko na 'yung babae I really make sure to give my 100%," he continued. "Talagang binibigyan ko ng mga regalo, like umaabot sa point na pumunta pa ako ng ibang bansa para sundan 'yung babae."David said Fidel's confession scene is his favorite in the series.
"Pinaka memorable for me was 'yung umamin ako kay Klay. Kasi ang haba nun, and naramdaman ko talaga siya, naiyak pa ko nung huli," he said.
