The House of Representatives has logged a total of 18 COVID-19 cases among its employees

Another employee of the House of Representatives succumbed to COVID-19, making it the third coronavirus-related death in the lower house.

House Secretary General Jose Luis Montales said the 52-year-old employee who was assigned at the Bills & Index Service has been working from home since June 18, but went to the Batasang Pambansa in Quezon City on June 29 to submit documents.The House has logged a total of 18 COVID-19 cases among its employees.

President Rodrigo Duterte is set to go to the Batasang Pambansa on July 27 to deliver his fifth State of the Nation Address.
