The Calabarzon police said Roi Dominique Urbiztondo sold shabu to an undercover police officer during a drug transaction around 9:34 p.m. in Barangay Bucal.An armed encounter ensued after Urbiztondo reportedly pushed the poseur buyer and shot him with a handgun when he sensed that he was dealing with a police agent. The suspect missed his target and the agent was unharmed.
Another policeman was forced to return fire and hit the suspect. The wounded Urbiztondo died while being taken to the hospital.
