Heroes do the extraordinary, stand up for what is right — CHAC exec

This was the jest of the message that Dante Arcilla Jr., the chairperson of the Cebu City’s Cultural and Historical Affairs Commission , delivered during the city’s National Heroes’ Day celebration on Monday, August 30. Since the city remains under Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine until September 7, the city government organized a short program this year to honor individuals who are heroes in their own little ways.

The city’s celebration started with flag raising and the offering of flowers that were held at the Rizal Memorial Library and Museum grounds located along Osmeña Boulevard in Cebu City.
