Public health advocate Dr. Tony Leachon advises President Rodrigo Duterte to consult first with pharmaceutical companies if the China-made COVID-19 vaccines will be safe for use.

President Rodrigo Duterte should consult with pharmaceutical companies on the efficacy and safety of China-made COVID-19 vaccines, a public health expert advised on Tuesday.

“Perhaps, the President is not fully briefed as to the timelines of vaccine development,” Leachon told CNN Philippines’ Rico Hizon. To further widen the government’s options on where to procure the much-coveted vaccine for the virus, the former national COVID-19 task force adviser suggested for them to consult first with pharmaceutical companies and businessmen on this matter.

If you consult pharma companies, of course they'll say no. Common sense lang Doc. This is huge business opportunity for all pharmas. Why would they endorse a competitor. They'll say their product is better.

Dr.Tony Leachon & RicoHizon are doing anti-Chinese propaganda. Biased POV by Dr.Leachon against Chinese vaccine. While Rico said Duterte has supposed close relationship with Xijinping & the Chinese gov. misinformation FakeNewsAlert DuterteSONA2020 duterteresign
