Halos 12k Pilipino, namamatay kada taon dahil sa aksidente sa kalye, ayon sa DOH

Inihayag ng Department of Health na halos 12,000 Pilipino ang nasasawi kada taon dahil sa mga aksidente sa kalsada.

“Every year, on average, nasa mga 12,000… na Pilipino ang namamatay dahil sa banggaan, dahil sa pagtawid na nasasagasaan, at ang gumagamit ng motorsiklo, bisikleta, at pati ‘yung mga sumasakay sa tricycle,” ayon kay Domingo. Payo niya, kung malapit lang ang pupuntahan, mas mabuting maglakad na lang sa halip na gumamit pa ng sasakyan.
