Another town in the province of Bulacan was placed under a state of calamity due to flooding caused by Egay-enhanced southwest monsoon rains and high tide. | EgayPH READ:

On Saturday, July 29, the municipality of Calumpit was also been placed under a state of calamity after 29 barangays were inundated in flood waters.

The resolution was proposed by Vice Mayor Charo Sy-Alvarado Mendoza, presiding officer; Councilors Raulito C. Manlapaz Jr., Maria Cristina G. Perez, Elmer R. Santos, Dalisay Ople-San Jose, Christopher R. Baluyot, Michael Darwin M. Cruz, Lamberto T. Villanueva, ABC Chairman Jhane E. Dela Cruz, and SK President Carlo DJ. Cudia.

Aside from the distribution of food packs and medicines to flood victims, Mayor Manlapaz, Vice Mayor Sy-Alvarado, and the town's councilors also distributed water buckets to thousands of flood victims.
