The southwest monsoon or Habagat will continue to bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over the western sections of Luzon and Visayas on Saturday, PAGASA reported.Ilocos Region, Zambales, Bataan, and Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
PAGASA said the heat index in Metro Manila will be under extreme caution level at 41 degrees Celsius at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport , Pasay City station and 39 degrees Celsius at the Science Garden in Quezon City.The public was advised to take precaution against heat cramps, heat exhaustion and heat stroke.The heat index is a measure of how hot it really feels when factoring in the relative humidity at a given location.
