The southwest monsoon or habagat will be affecting the western sections of Central and Southern Luzon on Friday, PAGASA reported.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms brought about by the southwest Monsoon and localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for the western section of Luzon is light to moderate and moving in the south to southwest direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate. The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the southeast to south direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
