(UPDATE) FILIPINO high jumper Leonard Grospe reset his personal and national record by leaping 2.21 meters at the 2024 Thailand Track and Field Championships on Friday.

FILIPINO high jumper Leonard Grospe reset his personal and national record by leaping 2.21 meters at the 2024 Thailand Track and Field Championships on Friday.Claiming the silver medal, Grospe thus bested the previous Philippine best of 2.20 meters that he himself established at the Philippine National Games last December.The 22-year-old Grospe , a triple gold medalist for Mapua in NCAA Season 99, finished behind gold winner Taiwanese Ye Po-Ting and ahead of bronze medalist Thai Chatchai Nil .
