RIZAL Second District Rep. Fidel Nograles on Friday appealed to the government to prioritize in its vaccination drive the towns and provinces adjacent to Metro Manila.
"The way we see it, faster vaccine rollouts in these commuter towns will expedite the return to normalcy of the country's economic center and towards full economic recovery for the Filipino people," he said. Among these towns and cities are Obando, Meycauayan, Marilao, and San Jose Del Monte in Bulacan; Montalban, San Mateo, Antipolo, Cainta, and Taytay in Rizal; Bacoor and Dasmariñas in Cavite; and San Pedro in Laguna, according to Nograles.
