Governor Manuel N. Mamba has challenged the newly appointed PNP Chief, Police Lt. Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr., to start the internal cleansing among the high ranking officials who he said are involved in illegal activities before anything else.

CAGAYAN — Governor Manuel N. Mamba has challenged the newly appointed Philippine National Police Chief, Police Lt. Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr., to start the internal cleansing among the high ranking officials who he said are involved in illegal activities before anything else.“Hindi marereporma ang nasa baba dahil sa mga gawaing mali ng mga nasa taas. Nasa taas ang mga abusado ,” Gov. Mamba said.

Mamba cited Azurin’s message during his assumption of office that he wanted to review the police drug war operations and seek religious leaders’ help in ‘reforming’ the national police . The Governor said cleansing during the time of former PNP Chief Sen. Panfilo “Ping” Lacson started with the generals.

Like Gov. Mamba’s Cagayan Development Agenda 2025, spiritual and moral recovery and transformation is needed.

Security cooperation up in talks of US officials with WesmincomAt least two delegations of US officials have held talks with the top brass of the Wesmincom in Zamboanga City, one of the largest military installations in Mindanao, ahead of the August 6 visit to the country of Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. US only wants military bases in our country to combat it's enemies. But to what benefit? American-made weapons keep killing Filipinos. Not one CCP ship or soldier was harmed or driven out by the AFP. AFP still geared for 'anti-insurgency' instead of securing our sovereignty.
