ABS-CBN’s “Goin’ Bulilit” will air its last episode on August 2, according to a plug aired on the TV network Wednesday night.
Goin’ Bulilit’s head writer, Josel Garlitos, and one of its directors, Badjie Mortiz, also announced the ending of the show on their Instagram accounts. Some of the country’s young actors hailed from the show, including Kiray Celis, Julia Montes, John Manalo, Kathryn Bernardo, Nash Aguas and Andrea Brillantes.
While the gag show is targeted for kids, it has not shied away from including political commentary in its skits. This month, a Goin’ Bulilit skit went viral as it showed several child actors on a boat saying that in the event they are hit by another vessel, they would grab their phones and shoot the incident so more people would believe them.Metro Manila —
