Senator Go says he will recommend to President Duterte the issuance of an executive order to regulate the manufacturing, distribution, sale and use of all kinds of e-cigarettes

Longtime presidential aide-turned-Senator Christopher “Bong” Go said Saturday he will recommend to President Rodrigo Duterte the issuance of an executive order to regulate the manufacturing, distribution, sale, and use of all kinds of e-cigarettes, pending a new law that would impose government control over these devices.

Deputy Majority Leader Rep. Bernadette Herrera said she will file n a bill in the House of Representatives next week that will seek to finally regulate the sale of vapes. She added that her measure seeks to set “standards and regulations on product design, operation, ingredients, emissions, advertising, promotions, sponsorships, packaging, and labeling” of vape products.
