About 6,000 residents from Antique received aid from GMA Kapuso Foundation as they face the effects of the El Niño. Drought has caused a large portion of farm land in the town of Tobias Fornier to dry up, affecting farmers' income and leading to deep debt. Additionally, armyworms have attacked half of Salvacion Yasay's crops, causing significant damage. The lack of vegetation in pasture areas has forced pests to transfer to existing crops, such as corn.

About 6,000 residents from Antique received aid from GMA Kapuso Foundation as they face the effects of the El Niño.According to “24 Oras,” Friday, a large portion of farm land in the town of Tobias Fornier has dried up.Farmer Ronelyn Naig said that this has affected her income and she is now in deep debt.“Masakit na lugi ang puhunan, tapos maghahanap ka ulit ng pangpuhunan sa susunod na taniman, tapos may pinapaaral ka pa na mga anak, siyempre uutang ka ulit,” she said.

Ngayon, wala nang damo kahit mga pasture areas. Ngayon, nag-transfer na kung anong crop ‘yung existing, andon sila nag-transfer. So ‘yung mais natin naapektuhan,” Municipal agriculturist Renesito Labnao said.Under Operation Bayanihan, GMA Kapuso Foundation delivered food packs to residents, medicines and hygiene kits to the rural health unit.“Maraming salamat sa GMA Kapuso, hindi niyo kami nakakalimutan na mga magsasaka sa Antique,” Salvacion said.
