The Labor department finds that GMA failed to submit a report on Eddie Garcia’s accident within 24 hours, and did not provide a safety officer and first-aid responders on set.

— The Department of Labor and Employment has fined GMA Network ₱890,000 over occupational safety and health violations surrounding the accident that led to the death of veteran actor Eddie Garcia.
